Writing on the Wall

I recently read the following statement on The Lifehouse wall:

"Christians don't speak lies, we sing them." - C.S. Lewis
Lord, forgive us for singing Your Promises on Sunday mornings, and then forgetting them when Monday comes.

Yesterday, as we were singing the prophetic song from Ezekiel 37, the Lord reminded me about years ago when we corporately spoke scripture aloud every Sunday in each church service. "What are you, O mighty mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become level ground. Then he will bring out the capstone to shouts of 'God bless it! God bless it!'" Zechariah 4:7

The Lord challenged me to think about the mountains that were present during that season of life. I glance back and see the small, yet significant, remains of where those mountains used to stand. There IS power in speaking and singing God's Word over our circumstances! Praise God that those "mountain remains" now appear as gentle reminders of the places the Lord has walked us through. Although there are currently new mountains, continue to speak "level ground" to them, and proclaim His victory with "God Bless It, God Bless It!!"

Mountain of debt, mountain of sickness;
mountain of doubt, mountain of weakness.

What are you? What are you, mighty mountain?
What are you? What are you, mighty mountain?
You WILL become level ground!
